The maximum storage capacity is 200 million barrels of refrigerated liquefied petroleum gas (RLPG) and natural gas compensate per year. Domestic refining capacity in solely-owned refineries is 993,000 bpd and 1.105 million bpd in domestic joint ventures. Internationally, the refining capacity lies at 2.060 million bpd which results in a total of 4.158 million bpd for Saudi Aramco. Normal customer demand is being supplied, while maintaining 1.5 to 2 million bpd of valuable spare capacity to meet unexpected international demands. The table below shows the output of refined products for each of the large refineries for 2009.
